The Laser Training Institute has created the first accredited laser education curriculum in the country, encompassing all modalities of non-ablative procedures. This curriculum offers a complete basic education on all laser wavelengths,intense pulse light, radiofrequency, LED, and all other thermal devices.
Bal-Tech Medical, located in the suburbs of Chicago, is excited about the upcoming LTI session scheduled for May 13 and 14 at the Chicago Lakeshore Hotel.

The seminar is appropriate for all physicians, nurses, aestheticians, laser technicians, medical spa personnel, and office staff who are involved in the oversight or performance of non-ablative procedures. Physicians who complete the seminar qualify for 16 hours of CME credit and nurses will receive 16 hours of CEU credits. Participants who complete the course will be able to document training in the following core competencies:
- Fundamental concepts of laser science and biophysics
- Tissue interaction of all wavelengths and other non-ablative technologies
- Treatment indications and contraindications
- Clinical applications of current and emerging laser/thermal technologies
- Review the hazards associated with healthcare laser systems and the appropriate control measures required
- Administrative and Procedural controls for all aspects of an aesthetic/cosmetic practice or facility
- State and Federal Regulations for operating laser systems
- Training on how to establish an office-based Quality Assurance Program
- Introduction to all of the latest advancements in equipment and technologies available today
