Facial System Combines Diamond Sound Exfoliation and Moisturizing

Bal-Tech Medical clients who have purchased the SmartSound Bio-Blend (ultrasonic/E-stim) facial rejuvenation system already are aware of its great benefits in collagen stimulation, topical cosmeceutical/skincare product absorption and deep-tissue rehydration after microdermabrasion.
Now, the system manufacturer Pen-Tech has partnered with Bal-Tech Medical to unveil its new diamond exfoliation capability.
“This was a natural evolution, to add an exfoliation capability to a system that patients already love because of its deep-heating tissue stimulation, that results in revitalized skin tone and texture,” said Rich Balance, president of Bal-Tech Medical.
“We have been using the SmartSound in our own medical spa training center, and that has definitely helped visiting doctors and nurses see the benefits of this unique system,” Balance said. “But the introduction of the diamond discs adds an extremely important component – it eliminates the need for a separate microdermabrasion system.”
The SmartSound Bio-Blend system has a combination of ultrasound and electrical stimulation as a way to drive in moisturizing topicals, lightening agents and anti-oxidants in addition to tissue stimulation, reduction of inflammation and pain control.
With the introduction of the disposable diamond discs that attach to the sound head, patients can now receive the exfoliation of a microdermabrador and then the soothing application of topicals with the same system.
The new system, which will be called the “Diamond-Sound” will be sold for $17,500 early this summer, Balance said, but a limited amount of “reference sites” for the new system are available to Bal-Tech Medical customers at the current price of only $11,995 (and includes the new diamond-exfoliating discs) through the end of May.
