NEVER TOO SOON TO CONSIDER TAX BREAKS

Your 2007 tax paperwork may be near its completion, but it is never too soon to consider the savings available when purchasing capital equipment in 2008.

The “Economic Stimulus Act of 2008” has been approved and signed -- and this legislation increases expensing for small businesses. It encourages businesses to expand and create new jobs now because buying equipment, software, and tangible property this year will dramatically lower their taxes.

This means that a business placing less than $800,000 of equipment into service this year would be able to immediately deduct up to $250,000 – up from $128,000 – of its investment in 2008.
This helps make the purchasing of an aesthetic laser even more appealing this year.
