SOME
POINTERS TO HELP BAL-TECH CUSTOMERS WITH THEIR ORDERS
*Bal-Tech
Medical strives to turn around orders in 12 to 24
hours. Under standard shipping circumstances, customers
can expect to receive their orders in 5 to 7 business
days, unless instructed otherwise. Bal-Tech Medical
has been consistent with this customer service guideline,
with the exception of back-orders. We will always
inform customers when an item is on back-order.
*Here
are some tips to avoid back-order problems:
1)
Many customers have "standing orders" with
Bal-Tech Medical and find it to be a tremendous help
in keeping their supplies in stock (while also aiding
Bal-Tech in maintaining adequate inventory levels).
Their orders are completed at the same time each month,
or every other month, etc.
2)
Do not wait until you are out of, or in danger of
running out of, a supply before ordering what you
need. Those ordering corundum crystals for microdermabradors
often run into this problem. There are two dangers
in this approach. First, overnight shipping costs
will run up your bill, sometimes 2 to 3 times more
than normal ground shipping rates. This gets costly
with corundum powder because of the weight. Second,
there is an outside chance that the item will have
to be back-ordered, making overnight delivery impossible.
3)
If you order 44 or more pounds of corundum crystals
each time you order, then order again when you have
only one container left on your shelf. Keep in mind
that one 11-pound container from Bal-Tech Medical
will provide approximately 12 to 15 treatments, depending
on the esthetician. This helps you judge via your
treatment schedule, the timing of your orders.
*Laser
tips are very light weight and it costs the same to
ship 20 as it does one. If you use 20 tips in a month,
it will save shipping costs by ordering them all at
one time. If you order five tips four times a month
you are spending four times the amount in shipping
costs.
*Whenever
it is time to order, it is wise to consider ordering
more to avoid a second order and duplicating shipping
costs. With the high cost of fuel, shipping companies
are starting to pass that burden on to customers.
