BE READY WHEN THE CELLULITE MARKET BOOMS!

The aesthetic medical industry estimates that 80 percent of women worldwide have cellulite. Bal-Tech Medical is encouraging its clients to keep an eye on this growing market and to be prepared to offer effective treatments to patients. You have probably been seeing names in the trade journals like Cellum6™, Tri-Active™, Titan™ and most recently VelaSmooth™.

Bal-Tech Medical is in the process of evaluating such technology on the cutting edge of treatments for this persistent problem for women of all ages.Utilizing its Ultimate Image Medispa in the Chicago suburbs, Bal-Tech Medical is comparing treatment protocols and results from two of the most promising technologies it believes will demonstrate the most clinical validity.“Our intention is to have our doctors and clinicians assess results and tabulate effective treatment sequences and duration to determine the best treatment package that can be offered to our patients and, ultimately, to our Bal-Tech Medical clients wanting to be a part of this lucrative segment of the industry,” Bal-Tech Medical president Rich Balance said.“Some combination of the treatments we are looking at will ultimately represent the most promising treatment in this area of aesthetic medicine,” Balance said, “and this will probably even include cosmeceutical/skincare agents specifically formulated to work in conjunction with equipment-driven treatment modalities.” Bal-Tech Medical researches aesthetic products on the market to provide valuable information to clients during the consultation process.

Feel free to contact the company for more information about the quickly emerging cellulite treatment marketplace.

TECHNICAL SERVICE ADVICE
FROM BAL-TECH:

Some tips that may save you a service call

The Bal-Tech Medical service and technical support department routinely helps clients resolve complicated – and simple – issues with their equipment.

Fortunately, most problems can be handled over the phone, by contacting our service line at 1-800-574-2152, ext. 106 and speaking to Bal-Tech Medical’s service manager Lou Sliva.

Lou offers some simple “check points” below to consider prior to contacting Bal-Tech Medical. Try these before making that call to save your time and money!

MOST COMMON ERRORS WHEN ENCOUNTERING
PROBLEMS WITH YOUR Co2 LASER

1) Using the laser on a regular basis is the best thing for a Co2 laser, as a characteristic of gas lasers is they like to be operating.

2) With that mind, do not store the laser for long periods of time without firing it.

3) Storing the laser for long periods of inactivity causes gas degradation and decreases tube life.

4) It is strongly encouraged to operate the laser for a minute or two at least weekly and fire the beam in 15 second bursts.

5) Any noticeable loss of power can be caused by the fiber or the tube; to make sure the tube is not the culprit, be sure to keep it in good shape by powering it up weekly if it is not being used for procedures on a regular basis.

VISIT OUR BOOTH AT CHICAGO ASPS SHOW

We encourage attendees of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons meeting in Chicago Sept. 24 to 28 to visit Bal-Tech Medical representatives at display booth No. 2207 that we are sharing with Pentech Medical.

We’ll be showing visitors our latest equipment, supplies, service and marketing offerings.

We also will be encouraging visitors to take advantage of our marketing programs and aids by taking part in a photography session to create your own customized patient education DVD.

Bal-Tech Medical has created an alliance with Laser Marketing Partners, who have produced the revolutionary continuously-looping waiting room DVD to help clients educate their patients about what is being offered at the practice, while also boosting their in-office marketing efforts.

A DVD custom-made for an individual practice includes an introduction by the doctor, speaking about his or her practice. While at the ASPS meeting in Chicago, we’ve set aside a room at McCormick Place to film these introductions for doctors purchasing the DVD. Take advantage of this and other special offers during the show.
